  1. Yes, that was an excellent article. I wish every writer hoping to publish a book knew the importance of getting good editing. Yes, it’s an expense, but an absolutely necessary one. I even wrote a book about self-editing, and it opens with these words: “This is not a book about why you don’t need an editor. Writers need editors. Even editors, when they write, need editors.” Thanks for letting us know about David’s article, Alan.
